Blogging on Bloggers on Blogging

Rebecca Blood interviewed Danish blogger Trine-Maria Kristensen to learn a little more about her and her blogging career. Kristensen explained that she works in marketing for businesses and uses blogging as a part of her work. Her personal blog has helped to make her money, but not through ads. She makes money when perspective clients see her blog and hire her to do work for their company, ask her to give a seminar, or ask her to teach. Blood asked Kristensen about her writing background, which was limited to copy work for companies she works for. It just goes to show, you don't need to be a professional writer in order to have a professional blog!

  1. I really liked her interview and you created a nice summary! I also agree with your point that you don't need to have a background in writing in order to have a professional blog. You are very simple and to the point, and I appreciate that!

  2. I like that you brought up how she doesn't blog for work directly, and that there are other ways to make money from blogging besides selling advertising space. Your post was short enough to keep me interested and enough detail for me to get the gist of a post that I haven't read. Keep it up! :)

  3. Blogs can lead to very lucrative job offers as well. A student of mine was hired to write reviews of video games based on a few blog posts.
